“You know what? I'm just gonna bash my head into my desk until I've incurred enough brain damage to understand why there only seem to be two positions to the global warming debate - either you fully believe and support every measure proposed to fight it, or you refuse to believe even the possibility that global warming even exists.I find myself in a third category - I believe global warming is real and man-made, but I don't see any way that we can suddenly give up fossil fuels overnight, and plans to artificially modify the Earth's climate seem dangerous. So really, the only realistic solution I can see is to adapt. Yet for some reason, I almost never see this point of view taken up.

what are they future pledges to Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at U of A..
Use less caps? USE LESS CAPS? Are you kidding me? Seriously. You've just made CosmicSurfers point. We are supposed to have a representational government. We don't. We are supposed to have democratic processes, we don't. We are supposed to participate in those processes, but instead we sit behind the screens and kick each other... about typos or all caps. (Hey, I'm not infallible, either.)What we need to do is enforce that representational government. Or fire the *****.!

It most definitely is that. Even Vista was better than XP at that, but no matter what the OS with the highest market share will have the most viruses.?
Yes. Alcoloholic. Basic English indeed. |

The theory is that the creation of the Higgs Boson particle is so abhorrent to nature that its very existence destroys reality. It is an extension of the multi-verse theory. Thus the fact that we are still here is because increasingly unlikely events have to happen to stop the LHC from activating, because if it activated we wouldn't be here. For example, last week a bird dropped some break on a sensitive piece of equipment which caused a cooling system to fail and almost damaged the reactor.http://www.switched.com/2009/11/06/bird-drops-bagu ...http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/13/science/space/13 ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_suicide Check this out.oh and thishttp://www.hasthelhcdestroyedtheearth.com/

Next year:"Six years in the making: everything they experienced, including that 'Siege' thing that happened last year, couldn't have prepared them for THIS, OMG".

Yeah, we're *****. And yes, the system is impossible to change.Who makes the laws in our country? Our Congressmen, who are elected into office through votes. But how do they fund their campaigns? By taking in donations and giving more attention to those who contribute the most in donations to their campaigns. And who can contribute the most money to gain the most influence from our Congressmen? The corporations who would rather pay billions every year to politicians for their influence so they can maintain high executive salaries rather than pay that money directly to their workers for things like health insurance and retirement plans. So the only way we can circumvent corporate influence over our lawmakers is to implement the ability for voters to pass referendums to federal law. Unfortunately, we do not have a proviso in the Constitution that allows voters to practice direct democracy on the federal level. So until that time, we'll just have to deal with the corporatocracy our nation has evolved into.
