Seriously? A gossip column gets on the front page?.
The guy has penned a few songs that have justifiably received high praise. But his entire body of work is mediocre at best.Musician? The guy plays and sings badly at best. The Grateful Dead tried rehearsing with the guy and deemed the experience a nightmare.!

It's just a pissing contest?
It's pretty much to be expected with any smartphone nowadays. My Pre will make it from 10 to about 5 in the afternoon without charging, under medium usage (a few phone calls, 50-75 texts, email check every 15 minutes). I think the iPhone 2G that I had before had a better battery life, but once I got an FM transmitter for the car that used the dock connector and charged it, I never worried about the battery again and used it very heavily (I drive a lot in my work). If only the Pre could charge and play music out of the same connector... Guess I'll have to try installing a touchstone in the car. |

While I am quite sure that part of it is calcium, I have no way of being sure it's only calcium.I've lived in many places and I've never had municipal water that left so much residue. That was the point I was trying to make.

You are completely right, Android was born in 2005 as a reaction to iPhone.

Well the issue with all this is not just the fact that the E.U. has basically put down laws that blanket every country in Europe, but the fact that governments around the world are starting to see the internet as a society in of it's self. What happens when you have a society that has very little control over it? The "powers that be" want to place rules, boundaries, laws, etc... on that society so that they feel that they have control of it's population (i.e. big brothers watching you, or the movie V for Vendetta) . Bad part about all this is, is that it's millions of people verses the few big businesses. We all know the arguments on it "They just want to keep the rich, richer and the poor, poorer", and the many other arguments that we have heard over the past few years since Lars Ulrich started the whole copyright thing with napster. We all have been reading the diggs about the "Secret Anti-Piracy Treaty" that is going on right now. If you look at the idea of it as a whole it wont work. We all know once the ISP's have to start shutting people off of the internet, and the big bells of the world start to go under. The government(s) decided that they need to kick people of the world wide network for so called "copy right infringements" they will start to go "no more we are losing to much money". You know the first one to start that up will be AT&T since they are basically the only big bell left out there. Once the little ISP's start shutting down, because of this whole thing. They start to lose money off of the leasing of the lines everything will go to crap, and you will start to see laws getting passed to abolish this ridiculous way of thinking. Hopefully at that time big businesses will start to adopt new business models to fit will the changing times. |
