***** road trips. I've been going on road trips with my family ever since I was born and I hate them more and more every year. Just leaving florida (we're in miami) is about a 9 hour drive. The road trip is always the same thing every year. Drive, eat and explore for a few hours, drive, eat and explore for a few hours. drive, eat and explore for a few hours, stay at some hotel to sleep, repeat. I don't care how big and comfortable your car is (last three years has been in their escalade, which i think anyone would agree its a big comfortable car), it gets extremely uncomfortable after a few hours and you can't wait to hit that next rest stop.We have done miami to california a few times, miami to ontario, miami to new york, miami to chicago, miami to denver, and lots more. It also kind of sucks spending like $100 in gas a day. What sucks even more is going into a major city and being stuck in traffic for 6 hours (atlanta, im looking at you)luckily with the invention of XM radio, having crappy radio stations to listen to is a thing of the past. even then, I don't care how much you're into one genre, but me listening to any genre for 18 hours a day for two weeks straight (and it's the radio, they'll repeat the same 20 songs over and over) will make me want to hurt someone
