Got burned? This was the best thing to have ever happened to her career. Just seems like a shrewd marketing move for both people. Sure kanye is going to be hated, but he was already hated, and it never stopped him from selling records. Taylor Swift will never be as popular or as talked about as she was after the incident.
Considering we've made other building blocks of life for a very long time, and have already found the building blocks for life in asteroids which were rich with amino acids and other wonderful things, it is rather sensationalist to claim that it is the first time. It is the first time for this component, but not the first building block.

So whatever happened to freedom of speech? Being fined for criticism is BS. Especially when it's warranted..
Don't get me wrong... The droid is a nifty phone, and would be downright revolutionary - if it had come out two years ago and there had never been an iPhone. But there IS an iPhone and it's quite obvious which is the superior product and who is playing catch-up.I also hate AT&T's service. But I can't say I'm a fan of Verizon's policies. Let's not forget that they had the opportunity to carry the iPhone but turned it down because they insisted on fully controlling the branding, interface and price structure on the device. Now they are forced to make concessions in order to offer something - anything - that at least comes close to the iPhone.I lash out against the droid in large part because of the extremely misleading advertising behind it.!

@Krakerjax, as for the first and last questions:Anyone joining the military just to pay for college or because it's a tradition doesn't have a sound, reasonable mind anyway, so if it was those guys committing suicide, I'm not surprised. There's plenty of other ways to earn money and get respect from your family and continue family traditions without joining the military on a whim and then getting suicidal when things don't pan out when a war starts.You join the military to help the country and yourself for the two reasons you outlined in the other two questions, along with helping your colleagues.I'm not saying I don't support those that do join it for family/money reasons, or that these guys are the sole suicide attempts in the military, but I think it'd be much better for their mental health (whether they become suicidal or not) if they had a career they were truly suited to and wanted. |
