The answer is pretty simple. I found a mermaid “costume” on the SL Exchange and fell in love with it. That “costume” is no longer available because the creator left SL. But there was a problem with the “costume”. It had no animations to turn it into a real mermaid tail. So, I began only by creating animations for the tail, and I would redirect people to buy it when I was asked about my avatar. Then I would sell them my animations. But then one day the creator packed up and left, so I needed to begin making my own tails. People would see me and they wanted to be mermaids too. [...]

As a result, the readership has gone up substantially! Over a hundred copies have been delivered from the SLExchange, alone! I don’t know the exact distribution figures, because people are able to freely copy the book from my store in Pyeonghwa. I do know that several people have written in to tell me how much they love reading it and sharing it with their friends.

And I must say that I had a lot of fun making this book…I spent quite a bit of time laughing during the whole process. It pleases me to know that so many people have enjoyed it just as much as I have, if not more.

Gives me the warm fuzzies… :o)
